My name is Wayne Peters, and I am researching
my ancestry. My goal, with this website, is to
provide as much information on each person as I
possibly can. As resources, I have used family
members, books, and the internet to collect the
information that you will find at this site.
I decided to make 4 starting points (ancestors)
from which you can navigate back as
far as I could go. These are my paternal and maternal g
randparents.

Info on my immediate family:
My wife: R Shan Sizemore Peters.(follow this link to the Sizemore tree)
Our son: Robert W Peters; wife: Tara Creekmore; son: Aaron
My father:
Ralph L Peters
My mother:
Mildred L Hiers

My 4 starting points are:

My paternal grandparents: Virgil Peters and Carrie Hiers (1)
My maternal grandparents: William Hiers (2) and Helen Freeman

Yes, there are Hiers on both sides of my family. Both Hiers (1) and Hiers (2) can be traced back to John Jacob Heyer and two of his sons who immigrated from Germany to Charleston, SC, in 1751, on the ship Ann. (see video)

INSTRUCTIONS:
To begin your journey back into time, just click on the surname you wish to find out more about and it will take you to their ancestry tree. Click on any name on the tree, and if I have any pictures, documents, or stories about them, you will find them through that link. At the last name on each tree branch, if I have names and info going further back, you may click on the arrow and it will link you to the next tree in their line of ancestors.
